• BASIC TRANCA CONVENTIONS:

• • Players: 2 or 4.
  • Number of cards: 108 (2 decks with 2 jokers each)
  • Distribution: 11 cards for each participant, plus two "dead" piles with 11 cards each.
  • Objective: The team that scores the most points wins the game.
  • Laying down a set: A set consists of 3 or more cards of the same number or suit arranged in numerical order. During the game, more cards can be added to a set. If you start with a red 3, it will automatically be laid down counting as -100 points; if you form a set, these points become positive.
  • Taking from the discard pile: To take from the discard pile, simply click on the cards in that area. All cards there will be transferred to your hand. The black 3 blocks taking from the discard pile.
  • "Dead" pile: A pile of 11 cards that a player receives when their hand runs out of cards. In a 4-player game, each "dead" pile corresponds to a team. Only the first player from a team who runs out of cards in their hand can take from their team's "dead" pile. It is not possible for the same team or player to take both "dead" piles. If there are no more cards left in the deck and "dead" piles are present on the table, they are automatically used as the deck.
  • "Rundown": When a player runs out of cards, either by using their team's "dead" pile or having no more cards left. In a game where no one has taken from a dead pile, this can only happen when both "dead" piles are turned into a deck, and a player runs out of cards in hand.
  • Straight rundown: When a player finishes all their cards without discarding any; all cards go into sets on the table. If available, the player takes from a "dead" pile but does not draw a card.
  • Rundown with discard: Occurs when a player finishes all their cards after discarding some. If there's a "dead" pile, they must take from it and can only play on their next turn.
  • Canastra: Set of seven cards or more of the same value or sequence, of the same suit.
